Generally speaking, the requirements for practicing clinical psychology or counseling are set by governing bodies at the state level. Find out what the regulating body for your state is in order to find out if you can enter those sorts of jobs.

Beyond that, you may be looking at some form of behavioral health or inpatient psychological treatment. Ideally, identify major employers in those fields in your desired area and contact them for what the job types and requirements are for employment with them. If you haven’t started school or major coursework in the field, ask them if you can shadow someone or volunteer to work with someone the job you are interested in.

One thing to know–in the US–is that most graduate courses require Certified program for entry into many of the counseling/clinical specialties. If the Clinical Psychology degree is not Certified, you may be creating a situation where you may have to take what amounts to a second bachelor’s to get into a graduate school later. So, check before you start.

    Good luck.
