Are you hoping to be a child psychologist that does research on child development or behavior? Or do you aspire to be a child psychologist that treats and evaluates children?
You may be able to be a research psychologist with just a master’s in some states. However, to be a child psychologist that does counseling and testing, you will need a doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D)
