What is the sexual psychology behind transexual women at the moment of the sexual act?

Question by : What is the sexual psychology behind transexual women at the moment of the sexual act?
This question is primarily intended for transsexual women. At the moment of intercourse do you turn on by the fact that you are a man with girl attributes or by imagining that you are a woman being penetrated by a man? This question has been long in my mind due to the study of gender and human sexuality, hope you can dissolve the enigma.

We are women, who think like women, who act like women. Why would we be turned on by the idea of being “men with girl attributes”?

Also, not all of us are attracted to men, so we wouldn’t fantasize about being penetrated by a man.

ummmm…..that must not have been much of a class….or at least transsexualism wasn’t mentioned.

your premise…your two options….are both so far off base as to be funny.

i don’t know any other way to answer your question…..look again.

    much love and hope. pj

I must correct something in your question— a transwoman IS a woman (just unfortunately born with a male anatomy). If a transwoman is post-op, then this natal birth defect has been corrected.

In the event that the trans-woman you are referring to is straight (attracted to men; and by the way transmen and transwomen can be straight, gay, or bisexual just as any other person)– then the answer to your question is that she is being aroused by being penetrated by a man— and in no way is she imagining being a woman— she IS a woman; always was, and always will be.

Forgive me for being overly clever, but this is nothing more than another veiled “is autogynephilia real?” question.

As one who “studies” gender and human sexuality (yet curiously spells transsexual two different ways) you might find this interesting reading…

To put your mind at ease, the fact is there are some males who get sexually aroused by the idea of seeing themselves as female, *some* of these males do identify as transsexual, and *some* of them even go on to transition, and live perfectly happy lives afterward. Who or what we are attracted to is different for everyone, and does not dictate whether we have a male or female gender identity, though some extremely lousy scientists hell-bent on pathologizing Transsexualism as a mental disorder have stated otherwise. Their “theory” of autogynephilia was debunked a decade ago because it did not follow the scientific method.
