What is the diff between Freud & Lacan psychoanalysis?
What sets Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis apart?
I have to write a brief 4 sentence explanation about the two people and I’m not sure –
I wrote that Freud came up with free assocation, dream analysis, etc.
and Lacan I just said that he opposed… Freud’s idea of how an analyst would be trained.

Freud had this entire thing about how women had penis envy, their entire problem was that they were upset because they didn’t have a penis.
80% of his theories were proven wrong.
