I dont like freud a whole lot… and I dont believe that psychoanalysis can/would help someone with all their problems.. I think its true some stuff is in the unconscious that needs to be brought to the surface, but i dont think lying on a couch is going to solve all your problems. I kinda like glass and P— i cant think of his last name it starts with P tho, better… im more a hands on person tho…

The observational concepts that are valid are banal. The ” hydraulic theory of mind ‘ is just incoherent and the basis for Freud”s psycho-sexual model, the Oedipus complex, is utterly refuted. Positive aspects; not enough to get a piss ant around the inside of a cheerio. The negative aspects; to many to over come. Psychoanalytical theory is hogwash.
