What can I do to help get into a good Clinical or Counseling Psychology Grad School?
I am going to be a Junior this fall and know that I would like to go on and get my Masters degree and eventually Doctorate degree in either Clinical or Counseling Psychology. What are somethings I can do to help my chances of getting into a good grad school? And what should I look for when choosing schools?

Admissions to doctoral programs in Psychology are highly competitive, so you really need top grades and an excellent score on the exams. Glowing recommendations will help, meaning that you need to cultivate good relationships with professors, if you haven’t already done so.
Talk to Psych professors about what you should look for, ask them to describe their graduate training and experiences, what they wrote their dissertations on, and so forth. Ask them, too, to rate the various programs and give you suggestions about which schools might be best.
