What are some topics in developmental psychology that is being debated as right or wrong?
Apart from the big hot topic debates such as nature/nurture, what are some other topics currently debated right now, ones that are not too hot to where it’s overkill if i write a paper about it.

a huge one is on our government and how we rush to help other countries in a time of natural disaster, but we take so much time to react to what happens in our own country.
another is the always touchy subjects of gay marriage or racism, who is todays minority
also the rates of “Mental illnesses” of today vs how they were just a few years ago
eating disorders things like that
