What are some good Psychology graduate schools in southern Cali??
I’m looking at Azusa Pacific right now, but it’s a private university and sooooo expensive!!! What are some other schools I should look at for applied psychology? (Not so much research based like USC or UCLA’s progams) I’d prefer one with a Psy.D or PHD program. (Most of the state schools I’ve looked at only have Master’s programs.)—But any comments would be very helpful.

Look at your question. You are using “good” programs.
All excellent programs have research.
JHU, Harvard, UCSf, UCLA medical school are nationally known because of their research.
You can go to one of the CSU if all you want to do is practice.
Psychology is about research anyway.

UCLA, in my opinion, is the best.
