We talked about the debate over circumcisizing male infants in my developmental psych class last week. We also talked about how most other developed nations have a lot more paid maternity leave than the US. Some people think that this may have to do with America’s high infant mortality rate because women in America will work right up until their baby is born and then go back to work a few weeks later and it’s not healthy for the woman or baby.
