I love history and psychology. I’ve decided I’d like to consider becoming a professor in one of these two disciplines. I’d like to know which one has a better job outlook (number of jobs available (supply) vs. number of people looking for jobs (demand)). And what kind of job security (tenure) can one expect? I’m assuming psychology, just because of versatility (research probably pays more, you can treat patients, etc…), is more secure, but I’d like to get others opinions.
