How many credits would you suggest I take per year (I am going for counseling or neuropsychology)?

I am going to attend Rutgers State University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I was just curious to know how many credits you would recommend I take per year, considering psychology takes a lot of schooling. Also, how many credits are considered all year round?
