First – Both neuropsychologists and psychiatrists must go to medical school, correct?
And what exactly is the difference between the two fields? Like, what topics do each study?

There is no such thing as psychiatry vs neuropsychology. Neuropsychology is a major in psychiatry. Neuropsychologs have to have more advanced knowledge of brain than psychiatrists. They not only deal with mental illness chemical side of the brain but other disfunctions of brain. Like brain injury. it is very hard to get an appointment from Neuropsychology. They don’t see just anybody. You need to have a referral from a psychiatrist. They don’t treat regular mental problems. They usually work in labs or as surgeons.
