Philosophy is the search for wisdom
Wisdom is what we do with knowledge.
Science is the search for knowledge.
Psychology is one area of science.

We desire to apply wisdom in the professional application of the sciences.
In every science, there is a bit of philosophy.

A splendid question, and I’ve smoked three cigarettes thinking on it. The “answer” is probably in Nietzsche or Kant somewhere…maybe Schopenhauer, but I’ll take a SWAG at it:

Mysticism, or if you prefer, Religion.
