Q&A: Industrial organizational psychology a good career?

Question by : Industrial organizational psychology a good career?
Assuming I get the masters/PhD in this, is this a good career? Do companies really hire those who major in this in the HR dept and how much is the salary? (in USA, if youre talking of another country mention it)

It is ideally suited for your own Cosultancy firm in Organisational Psychology/Behaviour/Development.

Employees performance/productivity/morale/employee turnover and talent development

performance appraisal/competency mapping etc., can be your business focussed subjects.

Salary levels will depend upon your expertise, experience and bargaining capacity with your prospective employers.

It applies to the same ,if you prefer a job in Hr dept. of an organisation too.
