MATCH Teacher Training
MATCH Corps members can opt into a free certification program in November of their MATCH Corps year. A highly prescriptive program that cuts out the graduate coursework of a typical MA Ed. (no adolescent psychology, no debating pedagogical theory), it aims to produce unusually effective and confident first year teachers that are trained in the micro practices of classroom management, automatic responses to student provocations, planning a 56-minute class, etc. www.matchschool.org
Project for Psychology class on Identity Moratorium. A Nerd is unsure what his true identity is so he experiments with different personalities and behaviors such as being a nerd, “gansta”, party boy, and a working teen.
