Ive just received my GED after 3 wks and I want to major in forensic psychology?
Im 18 yrs old and I have just received my ged diploma and im very excited! I want to major in forensic psychology. Ive been doing some research on forensic psychology and some people say its not a good field to go into because it takes up to eight or more years and they arent that many job opportunites out there. That has discouraged me a little. Any suggestions anyone?

I suggest that you initially concentrate on general psychology courses and also some courses in other disciplines, such as economics or the hard sciences.
After that exposure to a diverse curriculum, you will be more capable of choosing the specific discipline which meets your personal needs and wants, but also is a field in which you can excel.
