The unoperancy of the system is one of the causes. The people seems to be overwhelmed by the problems and their own failures. Which fronts are necessary to attack???

I think climate makes them melancholy. Suicide high rate is not only Russia but Finland,Sweden too. Finland and Sweden is the most rich social security countries in the world but still they commit suicide a lot.

I m hurting my parents and I act like an ass hole most of the time. Especially my mom… I’m so fuckn mean to her almost all the time..I feel like dying, she even said to me once she wished she didn’t give birth to me that’s how much I stressed her out. I know she loves me but the way I am is frustrating i always see myself as low all the time. Da fuq right? I’ve gone beyond selfish it’s because of our secular way of life how we all gotta be the shit in this world…

Times certainly have changed. There once was a time where people were only concerned about their families and community but like all things in life that changed somewhere along the way. I think if a grown person wants to kill themselves it more then likely is due to some unbelievable pain brought on by years of abuse from society and people in general. To see that children are killing themselves more then adults is a clear sign that values and new pressures are too much for a growing mind.

“It is often the parents fault for not seeing the problems staring right at them” This 1000x, so many parents are either too lazy, too naive or just plain not-caring about the way in which a child may be acting, often passing it off as a behavioural phase and not bothering to investigate beyond the surface, only to potentially give severe repercussions when one does take such an act.

Vitamin D supplements might help. The 3 winters I spent in Boston were some of the worst times of my life. It seems so silly that sunlight and brain chemicals have such an effect on whether we have the will to go on, but it is what it is.

@TheAnonymousAspie well dude, I certainly don’t approve suicide. It just leaves so much pain to those who are left behind. I mean isn’t it difficult for parents to know that they’ve outlived their sons/daughters. I think it’s a bit selfish. Furthermore, there’s a lot of people struggling to live. Our friends in Africa die in starvation and wars. But some chose not to commit suicide. Perhaps you have to contemplate on this issue again. I say it’s quite immoral.

I know how you feel. I’m in a similar situation but you’re a special person like any other and self worth doesn’t come from your parents, it’s comes from within you. Life certainly isn’t easy, but dig deep. You are here for a reason, so never belittle yourself. You are as good as anyone and you definitely have something to bring to this crazy world and don’t ever forget it. Peace & Love.

Parents need to talk to their kids and find them help if they need it. I have an eating disorder, cut myself, and have attempted suicide. My parents don’t give a shit and when I asked to get help they said no.

Your comment is so funny & truthful. I remember when I was in HS we had a guest speaker who was a cop talking about school rules, law enforcement, etc. and a few of my classmates said that “the school looks like a prison and we feel like prisoners” I’ll never forget that.
