Is there something that I could do to change my personality type?

Question by :'(: Is there something that I could do to change my personality type?
I took this personality test from a psychology based site, and the results were like this

Extraversion 43%
Anti-authority 90%
Stability 23%

I was unhappy with the stability result and my score says that I feel insecure, worried and few other things and i think its kinda true so what should I do to make myself more stable?

I wouldn’t take personality tests too seriously they can easily make you paranoid and stressed out about who you are…
If you are feeling insecure find something you are amazing at and just do it!
it Will give you a huge confidence boost to be doing something which you are praised for (:

Actually, the meditation stuff is quite powerful. It has changed me – I used to feel super-insecure too. Meditation or if you are uncomfortable with the term – breath count technique. Sit down, close your eyes, see your breathing, every inhale count 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or if you like to count your exhales, then count 2,4,6,8, and do it again. Do it for at least a minute first. Then 2 minutes. Then 3 minutes. Usually, it’s okay to do it 15 minutes. Some do it for hours. You may do it once a day, twice a week, once a week, or once in a lifetime – as you feel like doing it, do it.

Any sort of mind exercise like this one allows you to concentrate on yourself and see your real power. Find some self-development books too. Like Klaus Joehl’s “The Messenger”, it’s free on his site. I don’t give the link, so it might be considered spam. When you see your emotional power you’ll stop worrying of what others think, or what this world has in mind for you, you will be confident and radiate power – the others will feel it, rest assured.

i don’t know much about anything but if that’s some sort of ennaegram thing, you should know that those things change all the time . our personality changes a lot. i guess it has to do with a lot of the ups and downs in ones life, what we learn i guess that’s a part of the ups and downs.don’t worry about your personality so much . its fine. live the way you want to live. they have made up this reality so that you will consume.have sex, it all goes hand in hand. have you ever heard that sex sells? then they call it living. there are a bunch of hidden truths all around us as we age we see more and more the grand scheme. your choice is to follow or be a hard person to get to know, but maybe you will figure out stuff in life when you have to. life is totally great and worth living. i have been myself for years and i find it to be the greatest time in my life.even though like everyone i face disappointments, but that’s ok we gotta just keep on is special and dig deep you will find what life is worth, life is the greatest gift i have received.have great day.
    your friend.

Firstly, these tests are not definitive. Although it seemed to peg you quite well on the worried thing.

Just think about it. You are freaking out over a quiz you did on the internet. If you took a “Who is your dream guy” test and got someone horrible, would you freak out thinking that you’d have to marry this person even though you hate them because the internet told you to?

    I sincerely doubt so.

I worry a lot too, and frankly its next to impossible to change who you are without sacrificing some potential happiness. Being yourself is what works for you. Fact.

Being stable is not always about being a serene person who meditates (although it is quite good if you’re stressed or feeling down), it means that you are dependable to to others, or perhaps that you live a very sensible life (as in making good choices). People’s personalities naturally grow in different ways throughout their lives, and judging by this question, I’m guessing that you are rather young (only a guestimation, don’t kill me!) – so if that’s the case you have plenty of time to figure out who you are.

Once again, these psychology tests are for fun! So chillax a little!
