Is industrial and organizational psychology for lovers of the study of human behavior, or the business-minded?

Question by Jen M: Is industrial and organizational psychology for lovers of the study of human behavior, or the business-minded?
Would one who has entered the field of psychology because of their love for the study of human behavior and interaction be satisfied in this field?

Is the psychological aspect of the job easily seen and felt in the day-to-day routine?

Or is it truly more of a business job than a job for those who love psychology?

We, humans are very vain creatures. So i’m sure if i’m going to be able to answer your question properly, but we study this subject because we like to see what makes people think and execute with flaw and there is a chemical in our brain that makes us want to help them and we feel stronger and fulfilled every time we help them. We, ourselves are the same people we study. so we think why not fill that gap in our minds and get paid by doing it? The things we do to help people comes from a hidden history of the same needs that we have as the psychology lovers. Not one person I know who studies that didn’t have problems in their lives.

What do you think? Answer below!
