I’m writing relating to psychology, and I need help with links for sources…?
The subject of my paper is the effect that growing up without a father will have on a woman’s sexuality, whether the father be dead or simply not a part of her life.
I need links to credible websites dealing with the psychology of this matter.
For those interested, this is for a book report on The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. One of the themes of the book was sexual identity, and the main character had a very distorted view of sex, possibly due to her father dying when she was young. I believe that a woman’s father figure strongly influences her, and her sexuality. My idea is that if a woman had no father, then a woman’s sexuality is more likely to become distorted. I would like links to anything confirming this especially any statistics. Thanks = )
