Should i just go to grad school for clinical psychology and then specialize later?

You can try doing a MA or MS in clinical psychology if you want to see if neuropsych is what you want. But doing a doctorates is pretty much the end of the road, so you’ll want to have decided by then.

Yes, you should go to grad school for clinical psychology but pick a school that has a strong neuropsychology department. Have that as a minor.
It is becoming increasingly evident that neuropsychologists, without a strong clinical background are at a disadvantage both in terms of their work and in the marketplace.
The road does split a bit when you decide on your dissertation, internship and postdoc training.

You should pursue clinical psychology and then ensure you receive additional training in neuropsychology through practicum placements, internships, paid employment, and a post-doc. The best neuropsychologists I have worked with have graduated from clinical programs and all did post-docs in neuropsych.
