I have to write a thesis for my masters in psychology. I am an international student and I’ve had difficult trying to come up with a topic that is interesting, but not so difficult to research since I will be doing my thesis from my hometown and I only have access to online resources. The topic has to be related to children or family. I REALLY appreciate any suggestions! Thanks!

What about Freud and his child development theories?
(Phallic/Latent stages, etc)
Or Piaget’s development stage.

Does spanking make criminals? If you remove all other factors of bad parenting (general abuse aside from spanking) are the children emotionally damaged? does the lack of spanking go hand in hand with overly permissive parents? What are the REAL facts when you chop up the cross section?
My suggestion….
If you want to poll the populous, pay a little bit of money to buy a host site. get someone with some basic PHP ability (you can find someone at school who will build your page if you pay them in beer.. honest) and direct people to your page to take the poll.
if you cannot FIND the data- collect your data. This kind of construction for a simple poll is full within the ability of someone with even meager mysql/ PHP ability.
