I’ve only taken a few psychology classes but I learned to have more tolerance to those suffering from a mental illness. I am also able to be understanding to those who have suffered from abuse. I am also able to pick up on behaviors of children and adults who have suffered from abuse in their past and are currently living with abuse.

I dont know if this is the answer you are looking for, but regardless of what you hear I hope you take Psychology if you are looking into it. It is extremely interesting.

I have learned that no one cares. Everyone is so selfish; they only think of themselves >:(

That regardless of what you do, it’s better to just stay unhappy then risking losing happiness.

Lonliness is the true killer of man.

That’s pretty much it. Good luck then.

The person who said psychology is a load of bull – has clearly never EVER studied Psychology at a how level in their entire life.

Psychology is a highly scientific and strict statistical discipline in many senses. Its not the classic image of a quack lieing you on a sofa getting you to look at inkblots.

Psychology provides insightful research and findings for many areas – the army, medicine, and education to name a few.

Psychology is an extremely broad and interesting subject and from studying it myself I have gained knowledge of people in all senses – abnormal psychology, child development, social psychology, neurological and biological processes, cognitive psychology. Its a massive subject and many people do not realise just how much of what we know has actually come from psychological research.

Its immense and I would say I have become a much more insightful person from studying it. Also it provides you with skills that are transferable to many domains. Research, statistical analysis, mental health, constructing arguements, and many many more.
