Erm, well, suicide is typically associated with depression, and a broad field of psychology focuses on psychological disorders such as this. Psychology is the study of how the mind dictates behavior – so in other words, how a low level of serotonin, this neurotransmitter in the brain, leads to depression and how depression leads to suicide.

I’m not sure what your confused about when it comes to relating suicide and psychology. My best try to answer your question is that all thoughts and actions are a result functioning in the brain, whether that function is processing correctly or not, results in the various reactions people emit, ofcourse suicide can be aquired when we are presented with less than favorable conditions to the point that our minds can no longer cope with reality. Environmental factors, childhood upbringing, and mental illness all play their part in suicidal thoughts and actions, there is no specific part of the brain that would house thoughts of suicide though
