How do you stop yourself from making a psychoanalysis when you are talking to people?

Question by Sands of Time: How do you stop yourself from making a psychoanalysis when you are talking to people?
It’s hard for me to ignor obvious facts when I talk to someone. I see freckles, gender, mannerisms and sometimes sadness in people. It get’s in the way of listening and talking with the person. It’s becoming a problem in my personal intimate relationship: I just use body language with the person from a far, we don’t talk any more, we just give reverese or walk away with fustration. I make a lot of assumptions too.

You are smart enough to turn that stuff off. Think about what you are going to say before you say it. Pick and choose your words or you might end up with no friends, no one likes a know it all. Good Luck!

try to put yourself in their situation instead of just sizing them up and making a judgment. try to LISTEN not look at their teeth and good or bad qualities. you are not alone, this world is run by basis of looks wether we like it or not.
