That’s great you want to get involved. Try making brochures and passing it around school that talk about mental health. Also, try to volunteer at charities that help people dealing with mental health. Get your friends involved with the charity and encourage them to tell people they know. Maybe you could also talk to you principle to start a club that raises awareness for mental health.
    Best of Luck !!!! :)

Start by spreading the word through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr ect.
    Put posters around your hometown?
Ask around and see if anyone else in your neighborhood/city ect wants to help spread the word.
Hey, I’ll even help you doing it through it through the internet, because I want to spread the awareness too, and show people it’s not only adults who suffer from mental illnesses.

Maybe you could hold an after-school meeting or create a club. You may be able to attract teens who are struggling with mental illness by creating posters that explain some of the feelings that they may be experiencing. It could be difficult to get teens to show up or admit that they may have an issue, but if you can reach just one person then that is a success.

I am really glad to hear that you are wanting to do this! The best thing about raising awareness is that it can reduce the stigma of mental illness. I would have loved to have classmates to talk to about what I was going through in high school. I wish you best of luck!

You can talk to your school principal about having a school assembly about mental illness with volunteer speakers who suffer from a mental illness. There are many groups and organizations who go to schools for this very purpose; you can find them on the web.
It will take some work on your part but it will be worth it.
