for the girl in the vid who worked at Levi Strauss and Co. (i think thats what she said) …Claude Levi-Strauss was a frenchman (came to the states for a while), ethnologist, philosopher. Levi Strauss was german and came to the states and started the clothing company.

Ehh…my belief in the efficacy of psychoanalytic theory is shaky at best. I understand that Freud contributed an incredible amount, but a lot of his theories lack parsimony and are unfalsifiable. It may be useful in therapy, but from a research perspective, entirely impractical.
