Hi, I’ve narrowed down my two career choices. I’ve decided that I want to be either a Psychopharmacologist or a Substance Abuse Counselor. I’m willing to go to as much college as it takes to get one of these careers.
I’m planning on becoming a certified Pharmacy Technician while I’m still in high school, and I think that could help get me started in psychopharmacology, but I want to know more about this career. Like, where would I work and what would I do on a day to day basis? How much college would I have to go to, and what should I major in?

That’s simple to answer but harder to do: Major in biochemistry. Go to medical school.
Psychopharm requires an MD.
