Is self control proven to exist? Please, experts only. If so what are some scientific methods to develop it and improve it? Besides I would like to know what are some of the differences between impulse control, and mental control? or is self hypnosis the best way to control oneself. Have you ever experimented with your mind? I am sorry for putting all these questions, answer the ones you like. I would like to know once and for all everything about this subject. Please make answers that are backed by facts. I think I would choose as the best answer one containing words like neuroimaging, brain, etc. Finally, I don’t know where it would be better to put this question. Should I put it here in…. Yo, I saw that psychology related science is getting more and more popular, so we got mind tweaking, meditation, hypnosis, tips how to learn best, concentrate, ignore…. And now I’m interested, is there a way to fall in sleep in an instant, or some really fast time, lets assume under 1 min, even if totally ….. “untired”, whatever the word is ( I can fall in sleep in 10 sec when I’m exhausted, so counting sheep’s isn’t quite good answer =] ) By everything I’ve read, the point is to spend the enormous amount of mental energy to tire your brain and ….. idk, die….. =] So, give me your ideas, or share your knowledge about this topic. Have Fun, by A.S.Nedeljković Cmon people, there…. Click Here to Read More

About 1878, Alfred saw Jean Charcot, a French Neurologist who works at Salpetriere Hospital in Paris performing the studies of hypnosis. He inspired Binet to trade his law career for the studies of medicine and science. Binet then obtained a doctorate in natural science. I saw this trailer on apple trailers a few years ago. I don’t remember what language its in but I believe its Spanish. It is a romantic comedy that is set around the 1950s during the height of they study of psychology and sigmund frued. It was about this woman whose husband goes mysteriously missing. She asks her brother-in-law to help her find him and during their search they fall in love. There are comedic scenes of them using hypnosis and they had to cross dress to entire this club which i think reveals that her husband is a homosexual. The title is single word along the lines of psychosis/hypnosis or something. The brother in law has a walrus mustache (if that helps) I dont remember…. Click Here to Read More

I used to get really bad panic attacks and I tried seeing a psychologist (which helped a little), but then I went to a hypnotist. Ever since my hypnosis in April 2008, I’ve only had about five panic attacks, and I used to get at least 3-4 a day. For a while now, though, I’ve had a fear of public speaking. This stems from the fact that I was in the middle of a panic attack when I had to give a presentation one day. I’ve never had a problem with public speaking — all through elementary, middle, and high school, I was one of the first people to raise my hand or to read out loud in class. That is, until that one (ironic) psychology presentation during my senior year of high school. Ever since…. Click Here to Read More

Earlier this month, both my husband and I experienced missing time together. The first time it we 7:50am-9:40am and then it happened a second time except it went back to 9:30am. I know the times since I remember looking at the clock that morning since I was keeping track of time for my husband to go to work. The first missing time it was like we blacked out and then hours later blacked back in. We checked all the clocks in the house even on our digital clocks and it was all the same. The second time, we didn’t even notice anything no blacking out but just realizing that all clocks oncluding mobile ones went back 10 minutes in time. I know that hypnosis can bring back events of missing time…. Click Here to Read More

For over a year (I’m 17), I have been suffering from a sudden onset of excessive underarm sweating and then later facial blushing. I have read up on hyperhidrosis and this seems to match both my symptoms. The frustrating thing is that I only sweat a lot when I’m with peers..usually if I’m just with my family I’ll be fine, so thats the weird part. The facial blushing is really ruining so many things for me. The smallest bit of attention on me makes me turn bright RED. It’s sooo embarrassing, and I’ve tried to use reverse psychology but it just doesn’t seem to work. Would hypnosis be a good option? Also, I will be seeing a doctor at some point but I wanted to try to help this problem…. Click Here to Read More
