In fact, the ‘Karma’ is seen as the mechanism that underlie a person’s fate or destiny, either physically or spiritually, as effect from cause. It is what most mystics refer to as a “cosmic law of compensation.” The particularity of this law is that it only, or…. Click Here to Read More

Stepping out of History: to my mind this encapsulates beautifully the concept of learning how to move away from a past where we weren’t empowered, we couldn’t put our boundaries down, we experienced abuse, we couldn’t make sensible and healthy decisions. A past where all our relationships were either blighted or somehow not enough; where we couldn’t take care of ourselves financially, or prosper in ways we longed to. A past where our potential was not being realized. Oprah Winfrey has used stepping out of history a lot in this context. When your history – how you’ve lived your life so far – has not brought you fulfillment, then it is time to step out of it. Oh yes! We…. Click Here to Read More

In parts one and two, I talked about the golf psychology lessons from the performance of veteran Tom Watson and young Ross Fisher at this year’s Open Championship at Turnberry. It almost seems unnecessary to mention his age and recent hip replacement operation. As a golf psychologist helping clients to play the best golf they possibly can, whatever happens, I couldn’t fail to be impressed with Ross’s calm ability to shrug off the disappointment of that quadruple bogey and play on like the consummate professional he has become.
