Can someone with a bachelors in art apply to grad school for psychology?
If not do they need to re-apply to a 4 year university to get a BA in psychology first?
so do i re-apply to a 4 year university to get a degree in a closely related field? do things all over again?? That’s kinda what I was asking, assuming an art degree wouldn’t qualify.

Anyone can apply.
However, it would not be worth your time or money, as you would not be accepted.
If you want to study at the graduate level in psychology, you need to have a bachelor’s in a closely related field.

I don’t think you would need to do a whole degree again, but they might want you to take a few basic courses if you haven’t done so already. I’d call a graduate school psychology department and ask what they require; it might just be a few courses. And I’ve known people to get into medical school with degrees in History, Spanish and literature, so I’m sure there is some way you could do it.
