Will having EVER been diagnosed with substance abuse in a medical setting affect sitting for and obtaining licensure to practice clinical psychology? (Can these records be revealed?)
I actually hope to work in the substance abuse realm of psychology. Anyone know??

No, there is no procedure where the psych board checks medical records. There are also many levels of degree’s below clinical psychology (in the years spent I mean) where you can practice in the substance abuse realm. good luck
