Can I become a sex therapist after I complete my masters degree in counseling psychology?

As well as other psychology positions?

Most likely. Since you are doing counseling psychology you’re preparing yourself to be able to counsel someone. Since sex therapy isn’t a branch or specification (like Cognitive, ect) you’d just have to train yourself to be able to counsel about it.

Each state has different requirements. I would contact your state and see what the requirements are, but also you can contact the aasect. Its the american association of sexual educators counselors and therapists. This might help you a lot more
