Plymouth, MN (PRWEB) September 21, 2011

It is a fact that bullying exists everywhere. What is disturbing to know is that people often turn a blind eye when they see this happening. Ignoring this issue wont make it go away; instead, it could lead to serious repercussions like suicide or lifelong trauma. In A Life Interrupted – The Story of My Battle with Bullying and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, author Sumi Mukherjee shares an eye-opening account that audaciously talks about one of societys often neglected yet alarming issuesbullying.

There has been a trend of tragic suicide cases around the country which resulted from various forms of bullying. Unfortunately, such individuals are not around anymore to share their personal stories, and what they suffered starts to fade into the blur of tragic headlines, which all people often take for granted. A Life Interrupted – The Story of My Battle with Bullying and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is a graphic, first-person account that aims to make people realize that bullying has long been ruining the lives of countless nice, intelligent, and sensitive people everywhere around the world. In Mukherjees case, regular bullying led to the onset of OCD, a severe, chronic, life-consuming mental illness which started for him at the age of sixteen. Unlike other widely known publications concerning the subject of OCD, this unique book brings to light a taboo form of this illness (horrific obsessive bad thoughts) which is rarely ever spoken about.

Candid, honest, and straightforward, A Life Interrupted – The Story of My Battle with Bullying and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is one mans true story tailored to educate the public on how to overcome bullying and OCD. It touches on an ongoing issue that civilized people cannot let fade away.
